What makes our compulsory passenger insurance different
All public collective passenger transport companies must provide insurance in the transport ticket itself. Compulsory passenger insurance covers potential statutory compensation payable for personal damage in the case of accidents.
What our traveller insurance covers
We guarantee payment of compensation in the event of death due to an accident.
If any of the insured parties has an accident and suffers some kind of disability resulting from it, we guarantee that they will receive a compensation based on the capital sum of the policy and the seriousness of the after-effects, in accordance with the levels established in the disability scale.
With our insurance for travellers, if the insured party is temporarily prevented from carrying out his or her profession as a result of an accident, we guarantee daily compensation during the period required for medical treatment and subsequent rest, up to a maximum of one year.
You can also take out a contract for temporary disability as a result of an accident. In this case, the days of sick leave for each pathology are stated in the terms and conditions of the policy.
This coverage provides an additional sum for medical, pharmaceutical and hospitalisation expenses, and the cost of the transport required for subsequent treatment or rehabilitation.
If any of the insured persons requires hospitalisation due to an accident, with our compulsory traveller insurance, we provide daily compensation from the first day until you leave hospital, for up to 365 days.
If you include this option, compensation for the capital specified will also extend to death or permanent disability caused by a traffic accident.
You are guaranteed reimbursement of expenses in the event your trip is cancelled, including full travel assistance as well as medical and repatriation expenses.
